See a working organic market garden with 30+ crops, composting, soil management, farm biodiversity, resilient local food systems, homesteading activities (e.g. home orchard, chickens).
All welcome, but must be able to walk around the garden for one to two hours. Sorry, it's uneven ground, so not wheelchair accessible. Pre-registration via the Open Farms Website is required.
- Please arrive ON TIME for 10am start (it's a guided tour)
- Please do NOT drive up the driveway (park at the roadside and follow the signs to walk to the farm gate).
Access by vehicle only by special arrangement (e.g. for elderly).
When: Sunday 9th March, 10am-12pm
Where: 21 Kingsley Drive, Ngongotahā Rotorua
Cost: Koha to a Cause.
Conditions: We may be photographing the event, please let us know when you arrive if you do not want to be in any photos.
