For Locals applying for or using a My Card
- A resident is someone who has resided within the Rotorua Ratepayer catchment for a minimum of three months or more.
- Non-residents who are Rotorua ratepayers are also entitled to this card.
- All whānau members listed on the primary cardholder's account must reside at the same residential address.
- Children are defined as individuals aged 0–15 years, and adults are 16 years and over. Note that some businesses may define adults and children differently and specify eligibility for deals in their terms and conditions.
- The digital My Card can be saved to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, allowing easy access to your QR code on compatible devices.
- If you prefer not to use these wallet options, the card can also be viewed directly from your account on your smartphone.
- RotoruaNZ is not responsible for participating businesses not providing services as outlined. Complaints or concerns can be sent to us via email.
- For users of Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, it is your responsibility to ensure the QR code is valid and up to date. Updates to the card or account details may require re-adding the QR code to your digital wallet.
